Oh how I love raw balls! They’re a little nugget of health and incredibly tasty too! Brilliant in school packed lunches, great for an energy boost on the allotment and perfect to take to work.
Any combination of nuts and dried fruit will do as long as you keep the basic ratio of 1 cup nuts to 2 cups dried fruit.
Pecan and prune raw balls
- 1 cup of pecans
- 2 cups of prunes
- Sesame seeds
- Desiccated coconut
- Place the pecans and prunes in a food processor and blitz until smooth.
- Roll the mixture into small balls with your hands.
- Roll them in sesame seeds or desiccated coconut to coat.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
